for a start there's a difference between people who are emo and people who listen to emo music. someone who's emo is an emotional person, the music's got bugger all to do with it. just because you listen to emo music doesn't make you emo. it's actually quite rare that an emo person would even consider listening to emo music.

luke craven - you've been slagging emo off a lot lately. insulting people, saying they listen to emo crybaby blah blah blah etc.

yet it's you who listens to hundred reasons (not to mention anything else the nme tells you to listen to) and used to go round calling yourself emo because of it. you clueless fucko.

To try and clear a few things up:

I might have been insulting people lately, but i'm sure the majority of the time it's been in retaliation to something the person who slagged me off has posted on here.
I've never seriously proclaimed myself to be emo and if i have then it has probably been tongue in cheek. Whatever i said about emo was pretty much a stereotypical view and for that whatever i said about emo was wrong.

Whatever views you have on me slagging people off are purely hyporcritical.
I do remember a time when you were quite anonymous on this board and took time out to belittle people who you did not even know and also question their lifestyle habbits and their looks. You even did that to someone who was supposedly your friend. And before you say that i used to do the same well to set the record straight i'm not denying that fact.

After reading another topic on this board,i may have a "internet persona" but i'd be happy to talk to anyone who approaches me who uses this board to talk about anything i have put on here.

Perhaps i do listen to a lot of stuff that NME throws my way but don't you? I could throw lots of names of bands who you listen to (I'll ignore the "pretend Radiohead fan" comment by the way).

Well that pretty much sums up everything i have to say on the matter.

i don't read the nme anymore, i've noticed qotsa on the cover though. i've been into them for god knows how long but the new album blew the top of my head off. twiggy ramirez plays a dj, it's insane! they've come a long way. :: reflects ::

anyway, the point is this. think before you speak. don't slag off emo music while your own emo cds haven't even gathered dust yet.
